Pedestrian Barriers
Panel Shop manufactures a wide array of pedestrian barriers catering for all applications and budgets.
Pedestrian barriers are predominantly used for demarcation and crowd control such as pop concerts or sporting events where the emphasis is on directing and segregation of pedestrian traffic. All barriers are manufactured from 38mm diameter tubular framework and either a mesh or vertical tube infill. They are in a pre-galvanised or powder coated finish.

2.3m V-Foot Bar Barrier
A one-piece barrier originally designed for the events industry where rapid installation and dismantling is required. The 38mm heavy-duty diameter tubular framework has 360 degree fully welded joints for additional durability. The barriers stand on 4no. integral legs that are welded in pairs at either end. The unique offset leg design allows the barriers to stack flush taking up minimal space offering efficient storage and cost effective transportation.
2.3m HD Bar Barrier
Constructed to the same design as 2.3m V-Foot Bar Barrier but without the integral legs fitted, the barrier has a deeper overall frame that creates 200mm leg extensions to each end. These barriers are then erected using either a special non-trip flat steel foot or onto any of our standard fencing bases. As with the V-Foot barrier this barrier has a vertical tube infill adequately spaced for additional safety.
3.0m Mesh Barrier
A 3m long pedestrian barrier constructed from a 38mm heavy-duty diameter tubular framework with 360 degree fully welded joints for additional durability. Unlike the barriers listed above this has a mesh infill, rather than vertical bars, that is mig-welded to the frame for additional durability. The 3.0m mesh barrier has a 200mm leg at each end that are then installed into either a non-trip flat steel foot or into a standard fence base.
All Panel Shop barriers are manufactured with integral fittings for convenience; these can be in the form of a 'J-bracket' that wraps around the adjacent barrier, or a traditional 'hook & eye' arrangement fitted in pairs offering additional stability once installed.
Barrier Steel Foot
A flat steel plate that has 2no. female spigots into which the barriers are inserted to form a complete run. The foot is galvanised for long life and has a unique central v-shape rib down the spine for additional strength.
Panel Shop has invested in a fully automated powder coating line, allowing barriers to be powder coated to specific corporate colours at our Riccall factory. This ensures consistent high quality finished panels.
